Passed away at the Grand Bank Health Care Centre on Monday, May 21st, Benjamin Hiscock of Fortune, age 85 years. Predeceased by parents John & Hannah Hiscock, Wife Margaret, sister Mary; brothers, Hedley, Gordon, George, Sam & William. Leaving to mourn: Special Friend Blanche Strickland; sisters, Elizabeth Caines at Grand Bank, Gladys Mullins of Fortune, Jennie Bobbett(John) of Grand Bank, Gertie Langdon(Bill Barnes) of Hr. Breton. Also a large circle of nieces & nephews and other relatives & friends. Funeral Service was conducted by Rev Neal Buffett from All Saints Anglican Church, Fortune at 2pm on Thursday, May 24th. Interment followed at All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Fortune. Organist was Velma Stewart. Pall Bearers were: Tom Simms, Don Skinner,Edward Cooper, Doug Skinner, Kevin Bobbett & Lloyd Hillier. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank.
