Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on April 28,2012, Mr. Hector Weymouth Hillier Age 89 yrs. of Grand Bank. A WWII Veteran in the Merchant Marines. Predeceased by wife Mary. Leaving to mourn daughter Betty (Woody) of Grand Bank, Sons Lionel (Nina) of Labrador, Reg (Kay) of Wabush, Bill (Elaine) of Carbonear, Hector (Debbie) of Markland and Carl (Joanie) of Cole Hr.,N.S. One brother Lewis of Dartmouth,N.S., Sister in laws Ethel of Cole Hr., N.S., & Margaret of Grand Bank. Eleven Grandchildren & Fifteen Great Grandchildren plus a large circle of relatives and friends.Funeral service was conducted by Rev. Rick Marsh from Grand Bank United Church at 2pm on Wednesday May 02.Interment followed at United Church Cemetery Grand Bank.Organist was Eileen Evans.Pall Bearers were Stephen Hickman,Trevor Hickman,Jeremy Hillier,Chad Hillier,Chris Hillier,Jason Hillier,Freeman Hillier & Ira Hepditch.
